Our, bi-national, and intermittently assembled bricolage “dance band” and collective will be creating a long-form dance installation as part of Project Blank 2024 Season: Salty Series, hosted by Bread & Salt.

MALA FORMA produces improvised dance and devised performance work in unusual contexts and settings in the San Diego and Baja (Mexico) region. We “play” where a band might play, rather than limit ourselves to traditional dance venues and their usual audiences, removing a large barrier for those who might wish to experience the RADICAL dance, music, and sound-making we incorporate into our performances.
